Wilene Wiggill is an occupational therapist who completed her B. Occupational Therapy degree at the University of the Free State in 2010. She began her career in the government sector and transitioned to private practice in 2013. In 2016, she earned her M. Occupational Therapy degree, focusing on community reintegration.
Wilene’s practice has grown into a busy clinic with four therapists working together. Although her practice serves a wide variety of clients, she has developed a growing interest in mental health, particularly in supporting clients as they regain independence following life changes or illness.
Since becoming a mother of two boys, her focus has increasingly shifted toward perinatal mental health and supporting parents through the various phases of parenting. Through a combination of practical and theoretical courses, along with her professional experience, Wilene is dedicated to guiding parents in understanding this journey while finding a balance between their own needs and the needs of their child.
